Funeral services for Ralph James Martin, jr., who died Wednesday morning from injuries suffered in an accident at Clarksville, Tenn., will be held in the Moen chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Wm. O. Ecklor. Burial will be in the Oak Shade cemetery at Marion.
Mr. Martin was born Dec. 31, 1919, in Cedar Rapids, was graduated from Roosevelt high school in 1938, and in July, 1939, he was married to Miss Wanda Farmer. At the time of his death he was employed by the Concrete Materials and Construction company. He was a member of the Methodist church.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Martin; a sister, Virginia, at home; three grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.F. Martin of Franklin Grove, Ill., and Mrs. Myrtle O. Snyder of Marion, and several aunts and uncles.
