Services for Clara Ornetta Sears, a lifelong resident of Marion until five years ago who died in Newton Monday morning, were held at the Yocom chapel Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
Born in Marion March 22, 1870, she lived all her life here until she moved to Newton in 1943. She was the daughter of Valentine and Paulina Reinheimer.
On June 1, 1908, she married Benjamin Sears at Marion. He preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 1934.
Surviving are a son, Richard, of Newton; three brothers, John, Will and Mike Reinheimer, and two grandchildre, Nancy and Dickey Sears.
Services were conducted by the Rev. C.Y.R DeJong. Services were also conducted by Grove City Rebekah lodge No. 35. Burial was in Oak Shade cemetery. She was a member of the Marion Presbyterian church.
