Dorothy M. Robison, 87, a life-long resident of Marion, died Friday, Oct. 16 in Crestview Acres Nursing Home, Marion, following a long illness. She have lived at Crestview for a year and a half.
The daughter of Louis and Flora Gooley Klumph, she was born on Nov. 26, 1899, at Waubeek, Iowa.
She was married to C. Merle Robison on June 9, 1925, at Marion. He died Aug. 17, 1950.
For many years she was employed as a clerk for the Milwaukee Railroad, the Masonic Library and 13 years for Younkers, retiring in 1976.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Marion, Grove City Rebekah Lodge, Pythian Sisters and was a charter member of the Musical Literary Club of Marion.
Surviving are a son, Calvin of Atlanta, Georgia, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Bernice Bristol.
Services were held Oct. 19 at the Murdoch chapel in Marion with the Rev. Jay Miller officiating. Interment was at the Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion....
