Curtis Johnson, 85, a retired foreman at Wilson and Company, died Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at his home at 1223 Fourth avenue, Marion after a long illness. Born Sept. 4, 1868, at Lisbon, he resided in Marion as a young man. He moved to Cedar Rapids about 1900 and returned to Marion four years ago.
Surviving are four sons, Warren, Clark, Leonard and Millard Johnson, all of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Murdoch chapel, Marion, by the Rev. Ralph B. Colton, Cedar Rapids. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
