Sylvia M. Schultz, a life long resident of Marion, passed away at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids.
The daughter of Fred and Ada Elizabeth Thompson Schultz, she was born June 24, 1899, in a house next door to her present residence at 1252 14th ave. Miss Schultz was a member of the Marion Free Methodist church.
Surviving are a brother, George Schultz, with whom she made her home, and a sister, Mrs. Herman (Hazel) Hackert, Central City.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 26 at the Murdoch Chapel, Marion, conducted by the Rev. Howard Potter, pastor of the Marion Free Methodist church. Interment was in Oak Shade cemetery, Marion.
