Dexter C. Bell, of Cedar Rapids, a traveling salesman, 56 year old, took his own life in a Dubuque hotel Monday, and the body was brought here for interment Tuesday. There was a funeral service in the Yocom chapel, Rev. W.E. Fisher conducting the service. His wife and two brothers survive him. His parents were buried in Oak Shade, his mother dying last summer. The deceased left no word as to why he made an end of things but he was known to be dispondent [sic].
