Etta Plummer, 75, Died Thursday A.M.
Mrs. Etta Plummer, 75, died at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday at her home 1466 11th Street, after a long illness.
Born July 31, 1874 near Lafayette, Iowa the daughter of Edwin and Angela Andrews Garretson, she was a life long resident of Marion and vicinity. She was a graduate of the Marion schools. At the time of her last illness, she was employed at the Van Meter company in Cedar Rapids.
She was a member of the Prairie Chapel Methodist church. An only daughter, Geraldine, preceded her in death April 5, 1925. Surviving is a sister, Miss Della Garretson, with who she made her home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Yocom Chapel. Services will be conducted by Rev. James P. Gable and burial will be in the family lot in Oak Shade cemetery.
