The death of Inez M. Conger occurred Thursday evening at her home, 1070 Eighth avenue, following a lingering illness. She was born in Dubuque June 9, 1883, and moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Reizner, when quite young. Her father was a blacksmith, and kept a shop here many years, passing away a year ago.
Following her marriage to Nelson M. Conger in 1905, she moved to Mobridge, S.D. Her husband died in 1918, and for several years Mrs. Conger was employed as a telephone operator. She is survived by one son, H.W. Conger, of Cedar Rapids, and by three daughters, Mrs. Mary Bement of Miles City, Mont.; Mrs. Barbara E. Perry of Mobridge, S.D., and Mrs. Virginia Ellis of Lemmon, S.D.
Mrs. Conger was a member of the Presbyterian church. Funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. C.V.R. DeJong, at the Yocom chapel Saturday afternoon. Burial was in Oak Shade cemetery.
