Alice E. Hewitt Collins, 77, of Liberty, Mo., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died of cancer Saturday in her home.
Born May 13, 1912, at Norfolk, Neb., she married Jack Collins in 1938 at Cedar Rapids. He died in 1978. She lived in Cedar Rapids until 1956, when she moved to the Kansas City area. Since 1978, Mrs. Collins has been secretary/treasurer for Lectro Reps Inc., a company founded by her husband.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Williams of Kansas City, Mo., and Stephanie Forbes of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; a brother, Roy Hewitt of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Memorial services: 2 p.m. Saturday in Christ Light Unity Church, Excelsior Springs. The body has been cremated. Memorial donations may be made to R.A. Block Cancer Support Center.....
