Geraldine M. Johnson, 83, formerly of Marion and a California resident since 1925, died Wednesday in the Mountain View Nursing Home at Mountain View, Calif.
Geraldien Starbuck married Carl W. Johnson Nov. 8, 1923, at Spokane, Wash. He died April 9, 1977, at Santa Clara, Calif. She was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church and a life member of the Marion Chapter 183, O.E.S.
Surviving are a son, William W. Johnson, Mountain View, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Mary Ellen) Lennert of Woodside, Calif; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ester Brebner, Cypress, Calif.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at graveside in the Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion, conducted by Marion Chapter 183, O.E.S. Local arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established for Marion Chapter 183 of the O.E.S., whose chapter members are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:15 a.m. prior to the service.
