Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Townsend who died at her home in Independence Wednesday at 6 p.m., were held at 2 p.m. today at the Turner chapel in Marion and were conducted by Rev. Earle A. Baker of this city. Burial was in Oak Shade cemetery.
