Stanwood - Edward Dauber, Cedar Rapids, a former resident of Stanwood, died Saturday at the home of his son, Fred Dauber, where he was spending the afternoon.

Mr. Dauber was born at Red Horse, W. Va., Dec. 24, 1896. He was married to Vera Henderson, Feb. 21, 1918 at Tipton.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Fred, Onslow, and Kenneth Dauber of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Velma Jean Hughes, Cedar Rapids; one sister, Mrs. Arthur Saum of Mechanicsville; and seven grandchildren.

Services were Monday afternoon at Turner's Mortuary at 3 p.m. with Rev. Mary White officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill, Cedar Rapids.
