Ralph Porter Nash, 84, of 700 35th St. Marion, Died at 4:35 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 1989 in Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, following a short illness. He was born the son of Wilfred and N. Adeline Porter Nash on November 24, 1904 at Polk City, Iowa. On September 25, 1929 at Cedar Rapids, he was married to Leola Williams. Mr. Nash was owner of Nash Transfer in Cedar Rapids for eleven years, and farmed for nine years in the Springville area. He was manager of Katz Mobile Home Court No. 1 in Marion for nineteen years, retiring in 1969.
Surviving in addidtion to his wife, Leola, are two daughters, both of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Everett Nash of Madrid, Iowa; and two sisters, Dorothy Sutter of Polk City, Iowa, and Willa Harder of Harpers Ferry, Iowa.
Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 1989 at the Murdoch Chapel in Marion, Iowa.
