Reuben Rolfe, 1837 E avenue NW, a Cedar Rapids resident 17 years and a retired farmer from Lamont, died in a nursing home Wednesday following a long illness. He was born Jan. 29, 1882, at Lamont.
Surviving are two sons, Gerald, Cedar Rapids, and Merwin, Marion; two daughters, Marjorie Erickson and Helen Josifek, both of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Oran and Fred, both of Oxford, Fla., and sisters, Mrs. Charles Lillibridge, Greeley, and Mrs. Floyd Durey, Hawkeye.
Mr. Rolfe was a member of the Baptist Church at Lamont.
Memorial services: Lamont Baptist church at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial: Calvary cemetery, Lamont. Friends may call at the Turner chapel until 9 p.m. Thursday and at the Lamont Baptist church after 10 a.m. Friday.
