MRS. WILLIAM GREGORY
Leota L. Gregory, 56, of 716 Eighteenth street SE, wife of William Gregory, died Saturday in a Cedar Rapids hospital following a long illness. She had been a Cedar Rapids resident since moving here from Newton in 1958.

She was married to William Gregory Jan. 9, 1935, at Newton. She was a member of the Baptist church in Newton and of the Bertram WSCS.

Surviving are her husband; four sons, Larry M. of Springville, Tom L. of Cedar Rapids, David J. of Cumming, and Jeff A., at home; three daughters, Judy Harris of Lisbon, Martha E. Jordan and Lynda M. Reid, both of Mt. Vernon; three brothers, Robert H. and Leon Eaton of Newton, and Durward Eaton of Palatine, Ill.; one sister, Avis Haines of Gilman, and 12 grandchildren.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Baxter Memorial chapel in Marion by the Rev. Don R. Martin. Burial: Lisbon cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 2 p.m. Sunday until time of service Monday. The casket will not be opened after the service. A memorial has been established.

NOTE: Marriage date in above obituary is incorrect. She was married Feb. 9, 1935.
