Evelyn Stock Wed To Melvin Schoff

Miss Evelyn Stock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel J. Stock of Clarence, and Melvin Schoff, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Schoff of Lisbon, were married yesterday in the Bethany Lutheran church in Cedar Rapids. The Rev. E. W. Wuggazer performed the
ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white satin with a fitted bodice nd long, pointed sleeves. A fold of satin edged with lace outlined the neckline, and the bustle back extended into a junior train. Her veil was caught to a tiara of orange blossoms and she carried cascade bouquet of white flowers centered with green orchids.

Mrs. George Elder was matron of honor. She wore a gown of pink taffeta faille. Bridesmaid was Mrs. Russell Thompson, in blue taffeta faille. Stanley Schoff was best man, and Elmer Stock of Monroe, La. was groomsman. Ushers were Lorenz Hempel and Russell Thompson.

Following the ceremony, a reception was given for the immediate families at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Elder. The couple left on a wedding trip, the bride wearing a brown and while print crepe dress with chartreuse jacket and brown accessories.

They will be at home in Cedar Rapids after September 1.
