STEAMBOATING

Mr. Weaver, of this place, has purchased the steamboat “Blackhawk”, which has heretofore been running on the Cedar River above Cedar Rapids. The boat will commence running this Spring, between Cedar Rapids and St. Louis, and it will accord a convenient grain market to our community, as Mr. Weaver intends establishing a landing at the mouth of Prairie Creek, six miles North East of this place.
