I am looking for decendants of James EVERHART and his wife Jane HUEY EVERHART. They moved from central Pennsylvania, to Ohio and then eventually settled in Lee County, Iowa. They lived in Fort Madison from about 1840 to 1880. They had two sons, Frederick stayed in Iowa but Alfred moved back to central PA. I have found marriage records in Lee county, Iowa for a Nancy Everhart to Edward WHINERY in 1855; Jarriet Frances Everhart to Silas WHEELER in 1847; Margaret Everhart to Dr. John SKINNER in 1850; Susannah Everhart to Frederick HESSER in 1848; and Louisa Ellen Everhart to James MC HONE in 1852.
If anyone is researching the EVERHART name I would appreciate hearing from you.
