Valorie. My Sparks also came from KY, but right now I have no idea what part. William B. Sparks is my g-great grandfather. His obit said he was born in KY around 1816. His family moved to MO. when he was a young boy. I don't have his parents names. We think they settled in Marion Co, but not positive. He married Louisa Stacy of Marion Co in 1867. We don't have anything on him before that time. He could have been married before. One of his sons, Thomas Jefferson and family lived in Ft. Madison for quite a few years. I found them in the city directories. Alot of Sparks were found in Marion Co. MO. I have no idea if any are related to your Sparks. I did find quite a few Sparks from Adair Co, KY in the 1850 census.
