No, James, I know nothing more on PECKHAM than I posted; however, I can
follow the ESSEX to myself! I haven't been able to find BURNELL P.
PECKHAM & wf ELEANOR ESSEX since they m. 1834 Marion Co, IN! She was
head of household 1870 Mercer Co, IL & her father ISAAC was living
w/her. Do you have ANYTHING that might suggest a connection? I still
wonder abt the Peckham of Lee Co, IA in 1840. It's not the spelling but
how it's pronounced that counts! Give me the names of the person you are
asking abt...I'll ck it w/my Peckham file to see what I can find. I feel
sure they would have had child!
