Hi Ruth,
I have only family verbal knowledge on my Grandparent's Ezra and Mary Fowler, but through obituaries and census records, I have found Ezra, bn 1843, and Mary, bn 1845, were born in Ohio, county not known. There were so many Fowlers there in the 1800's that it is impossible to find many clues. So, no, I don't know his parent's names, but there is a son named Ezra Fowler in his family, an Ezra Fowler in my Grandfather Robert William Fowler's family. A son named Charles in both families, a son named Robert in both families. Robert William was bn 1877, Michigan.
Ezra Fowler, bn, 1843, named his first son George, and in a family that uses family names consistently, that could mean his own father was named George. Other sons of Ezra and Mary Ann were Edward, Ezra L., Andrew, Charles, and Jack. One daughter, Mayme.
Probably more than you wanted to know. Thanks, Darline Fowler Smith
Edward, Charles, Robert, and William were used in each family.
