Searching for info on Albert T Shaw MD and wife Mary. Albert enlisted as a surgeon in the 6th Iowa Infantry. Mary was a nurse with the regiment.

They are listed in the 1860 census as residents of Ft Madison.

Mary is not listed in any of the 6th regiment histories.

Have attempted research on Fold3, but not successful. An index card for Mary is in Fold3, but no info.

Found an index card for Albert and a pension card.

I think Mary died and Albert remarried a woman named Letitia in Clarinda, 11 Oct 1881.

Any leads will be appreciated.
