Thank you for your info. I do have info on Louise Sallander who was an Army RN at Walter Reed Hosp. then transf. to San Francisco Ca. where she retired and died. Brother Fred was married with two children and was an osteopath. I show he died in 1966 in Oregon. There is no mention of Robert Phillip Sallander-he too was an osteopath, married Dorothy Vance Roberts, Jane Vance Sallander born in Mankato MN while Robert was in medical school. They divorced around 1920 and he moved to Fresno Ca. with his parents. He was rumored to be an alcoholic and to have commited suicide after father Anthony Sallander died. I need his death certificate for membership in DAR. Dorothy's mother, James Preston Roberts was a member. I need the link between my mother and Roberts.

Thanks for your help. The Ft. Madison library was a great help with old newspaper articles. Nothing about Robert P. Sallander after 1930 or so.
