Death Certificate

MY MOTHER GENOLA IVA NEWBERRYMCKENZIE

My mother died as a result of an automobile accident just south of Donaldson, Iowa on Hwy 218.
on 31 Oct 1960. She was sent to a Keokuk hospital and pronounced dead. I was told that her death certificate should be in the Lee County Records? Can anyone advise where to look and how to get a copy of my mother's death certificate?
