Looking for Death Record VIOLA MORELAND

Hello,

I am looking for the death record of my great grandmother - who lived and is buried in Farmington, Ia. Her death record is not found in Van Buren Courthouse death records - however her obituary mentioned she had a prolonged illness and was surrounded by her loved ones when she passed. Someone suggested I contact neighboring counties in case she was in a hospital - Farmington didn’t have one apparently.

Who could I contact to look through the death records in Lee county in order to see if it is there?
