Rogers family

ROGERS, GASKILL, RIDDLE

Seeking info on children's families of Asa Rogers (1764-1838) and Beula Gaskill (1776-bef 1850).

Beula, age 79, moved with son Abner Rogers (1802-1858) and wife Mary Bodine, from Burlington Co. NJ to Primrose, Lee Co. IA in 1845.

Their son, John Wesley Rogers (my GG grandfather 1835-1918) moved to Oregon with gold seekers and in 1860 married Clara Eliz. Riddle in Jackson Co. OR, and later settled in TX.

Most of his siblings moved to Ray Co. MO after that.

Abner's siblings:

Job (b. ca 1790) married Margaret Stockton in Burlington Co. NJ.

Sarah, (b. 1804) married Chas. Wilkenson and after being widowed, moved to Primrose, Lee Co. IA.

Elizabeth J. Rogers, (b. 1807) died in Primrose.

Asa Jr, (born 1809) died in Primrose.

Harriet, (1811-1847) married Job Oliphant and died in Burlington Co. NJ.
