Valencourt Vanorsdal and his sister Maria Stillwell

Seeking information and descendants of Valencourt Vanorsdale and his sister Maria Stillwell, wife of Moses Stillwell. Valencourt born 1817 and Maria b. 1804 were the children of Simon and Catherine Claypool Vannorsdal of St. Clair Co., IL. Their grandmother Blondius Kuykendall Claypool, d. 1846, is buried in the Claypoole Family Cemetry near Ft. Madison, The Stillwells and Vannorsdale's were among the first settlers of Lee Co., Iowa. Maria and her children Valencourt and Elizabeth moved to Bloomsburg, Sonoma Co., Ca. in 1850, where she died in age 84 on 3 April 1888. Valencourt Vanorsdale died in Keokuk 1 Nov. 1892, services held at the United Methodist Church, burial location unknown. His son Simon Valencourt Vanorsdale born 21 Jan 1875 died Harrison Co., MO. in 1951.
