Searching for Prox

I know my Great grandfather was born in Wever IA Dec 27, 1889 His name was Carl Gus Prox, His father was Otto Emil Prox born in 1862 and Otto's father was Gustav Prox. That is all the information I have on this side of my family. Has anyone heard of this Surname or do you have any information. Thanks in advance.
