George B. SLUSHER was a s/o John A. SLUSHER (1883-1896) & Melvina MOORE (1838-1903) - George b 4 Mar 1856 Hancock Co., IL - d on ? in ? (prob bef 1896) - married 29 Jan 1880 Hancock Co., IL, to Lilly "Lilla" GOODING, d/o Cornelius GOODING & ? - Lilly b abt 1862/63 IL - As Lilly was but 17 y/o at the time of her marriage, her father, Cornelius GOODING, had granted permission for her to marry - Lilly d on ? in ? (prob d 1 Jan 1892 in IA?/IL?)
NOTE: George is not named as a surving son in his father's, John A. SLUSHER, Feb 1896 Hancock Co., IL, obituary, thus George is believed to have died sometime btwn 1880 census & Feb 1896 and poss in/near Lee County, Iowa - buried ?.
NOTE: Lilly is blvd to be the Lilly SLUSHER buried in West Point Cemetery, Hancock Co., IL (1863 - 01/01/1892)
