In a bio of Emmanuel Conner's ( Times Hreald Carroll Ia Tuesday April 29, 1958 p.11) It states that his father George Conner and George's brother John walked from Lee County in 1855 to Panora in Guthrie Co to buy land in Carroll Co. What it does not say was if he returned to Lee Co or stayed In Guthrie until his move to Carroll Co in 1862.

If he stayed in Lee County at least 2 Conner children would have been born in Lee County. How early were birth records kept in Lee Co.?

The names would be John and Luther Conner, parents are George Conner and Melissa Sigler
