I have checked Jackson & Des Moines Township cemetery listings for your ancestor. I did not find him.

If he lived in or near Keokuk he may be buried in a very large Oakland Cemetery. I do not have a listing for this cemetery.

A check of death records at the South Lee Courthouse in Keokuk, Iowa might reveal his death record and place of burial. Death records are kept at the Recorders office 25 N 7 St., Keokuk, IA (319) 524-1126.

Lee Co., Iowa has two courthouses. One also located in Ft. Madison, IA. So if you don't find what you are looking for in one you need to try the other one.
