My grandfather, John Martin Saar, his wife, Margurita Saar, and their 7 children immegrated from Germany in 1847 through New Orleans. They bought 103 acres of land in what is now known as Donnellson, Iowa. I'm looking for them and their decendents in grave yards in Lee county. Any inormantion or help on what to do to gain information would be greatly appreciated.
