Searching for ancestry info re Ida Flora Nevada McClain; married name Chesnut (sometimes spelled Chestnut). She was born Aug 1861 in Pontoosuc IL; she was Native American (believe Blackfoot). First info found is marriage to Napoleon B. Chesnut Nov 3, 1879 in Lee Co., IA. She died Jan 16, 1906 in Wever, Lee Co., IA. Would like to find out anything about her life prior to marriage.
