I have no information about Mary, but I have found that there was a Margaret born in 1871 to my Grt. Grt. Grandparents James and Mary Ann Griffin in Keokuk, Iowa. Perhaps Mary was short for Margaret or maybe I have the name incorrect. I do not know much about the Griffin's but my Grandmother was the oldest daughter of their son James Griffin.
