Buried in the Montrose Cemetery, Montrose, Lee Co., Iowa--

Leenora C. Herrick, wife of B.B., Aug 29, 1852, Oct 12, 1884

Inft. Dau. & Son of B.B. & L.C.

Also listed in an old cemetery plat--

Ben Herrick Section 1, Lot 56, E 1/2, purchased July 17, 1875
Wm Herrick, Block 47, Lot 6, purchased Mar 2, 1905 $10.00

This doesen't mean that Ben is buried in Montrose but he did purchase a lot so his headstone might be gone or perhaps he never had one.
