Maria (Davis?) Young

I would like to know the death date and possible existence of Maria Young b.1838. She was wife of Frederick and mother of Elmer. She died between 1870 and 1880. The 1870 census listed her as "idiotic". I believe her maiden name was Davis because the followinglived with her Young family in 1870:

Mary Davis age 33 housekeeper OH 1837
Drusilla Davis 12 KS 1858
Clarence Davis 6 IL 1864
William Davis 1 month born May 1870 IA
