I am searching for information regarding the parents of:
Albion NEWBERRY, b. abt. 1811, Pa., or N.Y. who married Sarah ?, (would love to know her surname too) b. abt 1810, in NY. They lived in Charleston Twp., Lee County, Iowa.
Their children were:
William, b. abt. 1834, Ohio
Amanda Celeste, b. 13 Mar 1838, Ohio (my ancestor)
Lucretia, b. abt 1842, Iowa
Orpha M., b. abt 1845, Iowa
Albion Jr., b. abt 1848, Iowa
Olive, b. abt 1855, Iowa
James, b. abt 1858, Iowa
Amanda Celeste NEWBERRY, my ancestor, married Lafayette Wasson REID on 2 Jan 1857, Charleston, Lee, Iowa. Their child Charles Edward REID, b. 25 Oct 1857/58 Lee Co., Iowa, is my great-grandfather.
