Family reunion

I have been told that there is a Place family reunion that is held each year in the midwest, possibly Iowa. Since my Grt Grandfather, Joseph Thomas Place and his first wife, Eliza Davis, lived in Keokuk, and my grandfather William Atherton Place was born there in 1853, I thought perhaps there might be some record of Joseph Thomas, as he was an attorney. I know that Eliza died when William was an infant and Joseph Thomas married Caroline Lomira Comstock Harris and raised several more children, namely Horace T. Place, Homer V. Place, Joseph M Place, Daisy C. Place.
