Caldwell-looking for descendants

CALDWELL, MCCLURE, SHEPARD

I am looking for any information about James Caldwell (s/o John Caldwell from Ireland and Mary McClure) b. 20 Oct 1812 Ross Co., OH. His family left OH in 1833, afer John died in a cholera epidemic. Two of John's six sons settled in MO, one went to CA, but James (and perhaps,David) came to Wapello Co. and then later, James moved on to Lee Co. where he died. James Caldwell was married to Elizabeth Shepard and was a farmer.
