In the 1879 History of Lee County, Iowa, there is a biographical sketch of a James C. Parrott. He was born in Talbott Co., Md. on May 21, 1811. Was married to Miss Henrietta Buckhalter on 4 Sept 1838. Five children, three sons and two daughters were born to this union. The only child named is the eldest son, T.J. If you feel this may be of help to you, I would be happy to type the entire biographical sketch and email it to you. I am not related to this family, just trying to help.
