Listed in the 1868 Lee Co., Iowa Gazetteer directory--

David Herstine, laborer, Franklin, re pp Franklin Centre
Mrs. Elizabeth Herstine, West Point re pp West Point
Henry Herstine, Madison, re p Ft. Madison

There is a Calvary Cemetery (Catholic) in West Point, Iowa. I do not have a listing for this cemetery. I have checked for the burial of other Herstine people in West Point township but none were found.

You might consider contacting the Rashid Library, 3421 Ave L, Fort Madison, Iowa 52627 (319) 372-2071 for additional help. They have many cemetery listings and obits on microfilm.
