Looking for the family of Wallace E. Marsh who was born March 4, 1833 in Hermitage, Wyoming Co, NY. He enlisted in the Union Army (Iowa 2nd Infantry Reg, Co A) May 4, 1861 & listed his home as Keokuk, Lee Co, IA. He married Mary Liza Rambo January 8, 1865 in New Boston, Lee Co, Ia. In 1870, he took his wife & 2 children, Charles & Emma, to CA, then Union Co, OR in 1871 and finally settled in Whitman Co, WA in 1879. Two additional children were born in OR - Nevada & Curtis. All this information was obtained from Wallace's Civil War Pension Records from the National Archives. The only information I lack: the names of his parents. Anyone have any connections to a Marsh family from Wyoming Co, NY via Lee Co, IA? Thanks!
