Stanton Bros. Restaurant - Keokuk

Early in the 20th centuray, there was a Stanton Brothers Restaurant, operated by William and James D. Stanton. One location was at 28 S. Water Street, Keokuk and apparently was located in a hotel property.

If anyone has knowledge of this business or these individuals I would like to hear from you. A photo of the interior taken circa 1905 is included at the url link shown below.

My grandfather, Newton Vorice Lowe is pictured in this photo as well as one of the Stanton brothers.
