OBITUARY

George Faeth, June 2, 1912 Lee Co., Jefferson twp., Iowa

George Faeth, a well known and highly respected resident of Lee Co., died at his home in Jefferson twp., June 2, 1912 at 5 p.m. aged 60 years 9 months and 2 days.

He had been sick for several months, but was bedfast only three weeks. His wife, two sons and two daughters were at the bedside at the time of this death.

He was married March 31, 1871 (records show 1874) to Katherine Fett, who preceded him in death. To this union were born: Aaron, at home; Albert, Wellington, Kansas, Mrs. Edna Odiorne, West Point, Iowa, Elmer, deceased, Katherine and Nannie, Chicago, Ill. His second marriage was to Carrie Duebler, March 31, 1894. To His union was born, Harvey Faeth, Surviving grandchildren are; Leroy, Wyman and Katherine Odiorne, Clemens Cleo (deceased) and Lloyd, children of Albert Faeth. Brothers: Jacob, Conrad, Adam, John, Fred, Sisters: Barbara Auwaerter, living; deceased, Katherine Neff, Elizabeth Auwaerter and Mary Beeger. (this could be Berger)
