Mrs. Chas. Schott passed away at her home at Primrose on Dec. 1st [1916]. She was born Oct 20, 1860, attaining an age of 56 years, 1month and 11 days. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vornkahl. Of her 10 sisters and 1 brother the following survive her: Mrs. Fred Vornkahl, Mrs. Henry Reitz and Mrs. Paul Wirsig of Primrose, Mrs. Henry Wendt of Sedan, Kan. and Mrs. H.S. Donnell of Okla. City.

She became the wife of Mr. Chas. Schott on March 14, 1887. Their union was blessed with 3 daughters of which one died in early infancy.

Mrs. Schott was a quiet home-loving wife and mother. In spite of a physical handicap, she was always cheerful and sympathetic towards others.

A lingering illness dating back to June of this year finally result­ed in death and her departure is mourned by her husband, two daughters, many relatives and a host of friends. Interment took place on Sunday afternoon on Zions Evangelical cemetery at Primrose.

May God some day unite us all, where there are no sorrows, tears and partings.
