Grandma Case died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Sarah Alsap, of this place, Thursday evening 29th ult. She was only confined to her bed three or four days, and old age alone seemed to be the cause of her death. She was 91 years of age, and was the third person who has died in that house within the past five years who were over 90 years of age. The other two were Mr. Alsap, aged 91 and grandma Swan, aged 92. Mrs. Case was one of the early settlers of this country. Was the mother of thirteen children seven of whom survive her. They are Miles Case, Biggs, Butte Co., California; Dr. Zenus of Catalpa, Gore Co., Kansas, Edward of Pirutle, Russ Co., Texas, Henry of Lancaster, Grant Co., Wis., Mrs. Laura Furnish, Sublet, Adair Co., Mo., Mrs. Card, Butte, Banner Co., Cal., and Mrs. Sarah Alsap.

The funeral services were held at the Congregational Church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
