There was sorrow in the Reeves home, on Eighth street between Concert and High streets Thursday night for the wife and mother, Mrs. Jennie Reeves, passed away at 11:40 O'clock. A second stroke of paralysis following an attack eight weeks previous caused her demise. She was about half a century old and was born in Georgia. She was the wife of Phillip Reeves, to whom she was married in 1866, and who still survives her. She had lived in Iowa ever since the war. Besides her husband, one son, Wesley Reeves, and three grandchildren survive her.
