Effie Bride

Effie P. Bride, route 9, Bloomfield, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 1985, at the Bloomfield Care Center.

She was born Jan. 30, 1887 near Coatsville, Mo. to Curtis and Sarah Beard Watts. She married Charles Bride on June 10, 1906. He died Dec. 10, 1952. She was a member of the Dunnville Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Raymond of Belknap, Vernett of rural Bloomfield and LaVerne of Drakesville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Priester Funeral Chapel in Bloomfield, conducted by the Rev. Don Macy. The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Visitation is open.

A memorial has been established to the Bloomfield Care Center Activity Fund.
