While the funeral of John Tiedemann was being conducted yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of his son, George Tiedemann, corner Birdie and Osborn streets, his widow died after a thirty years' illness. The wife had been ailing for thirty years and had reached the age of 80 years. She was born in Baden, Germany and had lived in Burlington since 1854. Surviving are four children-George and Louis Tiedemann of this city, Mrs. Barbara Jacobs of Montrose, Iowa, and Mrs. Louisa Johnson of Hartford, Wash.

The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon from the residence of George Tiedemann, corner Birdie and Osborn streets.
