Mrs. Jacobs Passes Away

Farmington, Iowa --Mrs. Barbara Jacobs, 79, died Saturday at 3:30 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs, Clifford Story, where she had made her home for several months.

She had been in failing health for mor than a year and ina critical condition for the past three weeks. She was born Aughust 17, 1859. She was preceded in death by the husband and one son.

Those surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Elsie Story of Farmington, Mrs. James Moore and Mrs. Sterling Bunker of Montrose and Mrs. Everett Bunker of Muscatine, Iowa and several grandchildren.

Short serves were held at the Story home at 1:30 Monday. the body was taken to the former home at Montrose, where funeral services were held in the Methodist Church in charge of Rev Harvey E. Butler of Milton, formerly of Farmington. Burial was in the Montrose Cemetery.
